Dijitalleşme, sosyal medya ve kumar platformlarının manipülasyonları sayesinde kumarın herhangi bir türü ile karşılaşmak kaçınılmaz hale geldi.

Kumar bağımlılığı başta ekonomik sorunlar, depresyon ve intihar gibi sağlık sorunlarına neden olmaktadır. Kumar bağımlılığı neden olduğu sorunlarla kişiyi, aileyi ve toplumu etkileyecek önemli bir halk sağlığı sorunu olmaya başladı.

Bu sempozyum ile amacımız, kumar bağımlılığını tüm yönleri ile değerlendirmektir. Farklı meslek gruplarından uzmanların katılımıyla kumar bağımlığı bilimsel, mesleki, teknolojik ve yasal yönleri ile tartışılacaktır. Toplumun birçok kesimi etkileyen bu soruna yönelik farkındalık ve duyarlılık oluşması en büyük temennimizdir.
